Pierre
(init : 12 + 2 = 14)
Realizing that there is little he can do at range, Pierre makes a Spot check to learn more about these bird creatures (20 + 10 = 30, sweet) (free). He then takes a flying leap off his horse (10+11 = 21, move) and lands next to Tyreal, where he will aid him in aiming his crossbow (standard, total of 11).

As the hawks come in close, Chet, Milo and Tyrael (with the aid of Pierre) attempt to launch a ranged attack with their crossbows but all miss the agile hawks. Korin however launches an impressive blast of arcane energy and strikes hard at the hawk on the right. The hawks land and start snapping with their rigid, ugly beaks at Milo and Tyrael. One takes a bit out of Milo for 7 damage. Meanwhile, Soabathil heals the man who cannot see the hawks because of the half-giant crouching over him.

Korbin places his palms together, then chanting once more he slowly expands them hovering between his hands is a small orb of fire he then makes gestures like throwing it away from himself and it speeds away from his body with astounding speed hitting one of the hawks and then engulfing it into flames.

Milo just grazes the hawk in front of him with an arrow, and Chet fires one hitting the bird hard. Korin unleashes a spectacular attack on the bird on the right, who now seems very weak. The hawk seems very angry and lashes out at Pierre with his sharp talons for 5 damage. Soabathil aids Milo by landing an impressive blow with his longsword. The hawk fights back with its claws but misses. While Tyrael anticipate the hawk's next move, Pierre unleashes a flurry of blows and finally kills the hawk.
