no he wasn't permanent, so don't worry about it...and the chocobo was more of an accident much like Orcus was, it was another DM in the store coming forth and creating total chaos.

Our heroes began their ascent into the Dwarf Hold Mountains, they eventually came across a person similar to Jim the Elf and his bear. The party quickly attacked him fearing he was some sort of opponent, only to quickly learn he was Jim the Elf, appearing more powerful than before, he struck back with lightning until he was forced to flee. Shortly after routing Jim, the party encountered a Morgath Clan border patrol. The border patrol refused negotiations and was not pleased till the entire party ended up outside of Morgarth lands. When the party prepared a counter-attack against the Morgath patrol, they were attacked by a pack of winter wolves. It was a bloody battle filled with bursts of cold and the unbridled fury of the winter wolves. Whilst the party rested a detachment of grunt-level soldiers of the Black Skulls assualted them. When the party dispatched of the soldiers, they realized how far ahead of them Lord Skull was, the only way they would catch up is via faster travel, namely mounts. The party quickly located the Dorak Trading Post of Furin, where most of the bought rams, and Tatsumi and Fang bought warhorses.

Kill anything that moves!! Avi: Shoot it!! Mark: It's Jim the Elf! All: Keep shooting! Jim the Elf: Man, fuck you g--*gets shot* Jim the Elf: Shit! *runs* Paraphrased, of course.

I don't think it was such a woody area that a fire would spread too quickly... it was more like Canada...

I don't trust Canada, 80% of their population is massed on the U.S. Border! They're Terrorists, and wholely un-American, they give people free health-care for God's (who you should all believe in, love, and fear!) Sake, they're as dangerous as Democrats!
Ahh, speaking like a stereo-typical republican really lets one relieve stress almost as much as talking like a dwarf!
"Hey you! Yah, you, puny lil' oathbreakin' thinks he's so great cause he can use magic Elf wizard-nancy-boy! I'm gonna' kick yer arse!"

Interlude: Battle between Avi and Myself....
So at around six o'clock tonight, Avi and I were bored so we gave each other half an hour to produce level 12 characters, the characters had 10,000 gold with no more than 4000 gold being spent on one item. At 6:30 our characters stepped into the arena and the battle began with Avi's Favored Soul winning initiative over my Fighter. Avi tried to hit me with a comet but I reflexed and only recieved a few scratches. On my turn using my amazing leap attack, I leapt the fifty foot expanse between us and basically slammed my sword into his body giving him a wonderful gash. Next, Avi breathed a White Dragon's breath at me. I then lift my mighty blade and nearly shatter Avi's pathetic mace (it actually had 1hp left after my one attack), then step back and quaff a potion to increase my AC. Avi summoned a wall about me and then healed himself, using my brute force burst through the wall. Avi called down a flame strike, which did not have his desired effect of burning me. IN response I threw an alchemical capsule on my already Flaming Greatsword, and then came through with another leap attack and knock Avi flat on his ass. Avi when he stands is struck hard in the shoulder with my massive sword, and he then proceeded to touch me, I will admit I was surprised by its pain but it obviously did not have its desired effect (A/N Really Avi a Fortitude Save against a Fighter!). I attempted to hit him missed, then backed up and used a healing potion. Avi then struck me with his Deity's Vengeance, and I leapt atop him again, decimating him but not enough to knock him over.
Avi's next move cost him the whole match, unbeknowst to Avi, I had 6hp left, and then he shot the breath of a Brass dragon at me, and the luck of the throws being with me, I made the will save, negating it by a point!
After his poor attempt to burn me, I once more took to the skies, and came down and my mighty Greatsword, now called Avi-Crusher split him in TWAIN!
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I always did wonder what would happen if we all had to fight each other.....this could be a good idea....I say we pit Bruce up against Herb first.
