rofl, nice, guys.
Actually I was in Ranchi at the time, which is even further inland. Like 400miles+ west of Calcutta, which is pretty close to the coast.
Jess: You probably have more geographical knowledge than the average American. Which is pretty sad.
And just to fill you in, I'm leaving for NY on Sunday 7pm IND (8:30am EST) reaching NYC 4pm EST. So expect me to sign on to AIM at around 6-7pm.
9pm Local time on New Year's Eve. They'd better not cancel my English Premier League footy tonight.

Manchester United vs Middlesbrough ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) If only I got this kind of stuff back in NY...

So as the ship moves towards the coast of Vandalia, you all begin to notice that the unusual amount of soldiers aboard the ship seem to be preparing for something big. While on deck you finally saw the coast, but it isn't the lush green and vibrant colors one would normally see in Vandalia, but instead the land was dark and seemed to be fortified against invasion. The captain of the warship informed the men of the mission, before explaining to you what was truly going on, it appeared that the Namfoodle Naval and Marine units were assualting the Diggery Doo fort, Ft. Snoofgal, and there was only one way to the coast. As the boat charged forward artillery and spells flew into the sea and across the assualt boats. Your assualt boat was struck about 20 feet from the coast and you all fell into the water. Opposed to waiting to see what happened, you all charged along with the Namfoodle soldiers. When you arrived at the first trench, Vrana used her Wand of Fireball unintentionally blew a hole in the line, which then the soldiers and yourselves used to gain entrance to the trench. Once inside battle raged, and only till no reinforcements could immediately respond were you able to retreat to the beachead being formed. Once there you found you would be able to retreat to peaceful beaches, and then did so by skirting along the beaches. Now you stand along a beautiful Vandalian beach preparing to move towards some form of civilization.
As a side note: Avi's Deific Vengeance speech for your enjoyment, and his misery-You god damn, right wing conservative bastards, this war is all your fualt, you should go to hell you authoritarian bastard!

Our heroes quickly arrived along a safe, and peaceful beach where a man in golden armor was praying and training. He took note of them and offered his services as a Paladin to them. Being wary at first the group maintained their course towards a small fishing village known as Roak, Roak was indeed small, and also home to a Mage's Guild outpost that offered teleportation services, the Paladin being wealthy offered to pay for the teleportation and the PCs were off to Van. Once in Van, the PCs seemed uneasy, since they were in the belly of the beast, deep within a Mage's Guild, when they were last within one of these buildings, they were arrested luckily they were not recognized. The Paladin made his way outside and saved a fair elven maiden from a mugger (by cleaving the mugger in half, and splattering blood all about), the Paladin and the party were then invited to a lavish party that was being held, not having many options, the group accepted. The Party was quite dull, the party met one of the Paladin's travelling companions, a Dwarf Fighter. Of course the dullness ceased when Black Skull operatives burst through the windows, and their signature Blackened Skeletons busted down the door. One of the Black Skulls stole the hearts of a male and female Elven Aristocrat, and as the battle slowly continued, there was a great rumbling and a massive demon claiming to be Orcus (Demon Prince of the Undead) burst through the walls with liches galore! Orcus seemed intent on slaughtering everyone in the room though he at first targeted the Black Skulls for some reason. Of course, Mage's Guild wizards, and the local guild head teleported to the scene, ushering the party outside so they could summon angels to do battle with Orcus, in the end Orcus fled. The party was retained for questioning, the questioning was vicious and downright cruel, after three days of it, the party was released and then the following morning, kicked out of the city. Once outside the gates, the party witnessed a peculiar site, standing there in all of its glory was a beast very rare, that makes its home only upon the Everglade plains, a Chocobo. The beast was almost brought to domesticallity, until Link decided to leap atop it, sending it into a rage, that it was never brough out of. After the Chocobo ran off, the Paladin and his Dwarven friend were sucked into a rift in spacetime, and the party moved on into the forest of Thailin. When they entered Thailin the party was asked by a scantily clad woman if they wished to buy flowers, the party almost did so but then decided against it, which of course lead to a very dangerous problem, the beautiful woman transformed into a Night Hag and called forth a group of Violet Fungi. The battle didn't last long but it did delay the group. As they continued their way thoguh the forest our heroes were halted by a group of Centuars and Whitey the Unicorn. The group of Do-Gooders told the party that they could not pass unless they accomplished the task of ridding the forest of Blackie, the dangerous Unicorn turned Nightmare that now preyed upon the woodland creatures and set the woods themselves ablaze. The party encountered and promptly slaughtered Blackie, and now continue to make their way through the forests, ever following the trail of Lord Skull.
