Soabathil
"You concern yourself with such worldly problems. These are not to be of my concern. I am only concerned with battling true evil and serving Heironious!" After saying this to the party, Soabathil asks around town for the location of a temple to Heironious.

Tyrael
With a disgruntled look, Tyrael says "Well, if no one else thinks aiding in the success of the negotiations would be worthwhile, Ill just go alone." With that he heads off towards the Governors office to see what he can do to help.

Korbin sighs and says, "I need a drink." Korbin wanders off till he finds a cheap tavern where he will drink all day.

Pierre
It's seems like days since he started his volunteer service. Pierre wonders if they will ever finish.

[[There was some roleplaying going on... well not much... through IM...]]
Yes, it's now morning of the next day! Soabathil has not returned from the temple. Korbin is very hungover during breakfast and mutters something about retreiving the half-giant from the temple before they leave the city. Chet is packed up. During the previous day, he had gone out and bought some adventuring gear and a pack mule. In addition to your supplies which you got from Newcastle, you now each have: Rope Grappling hook Dagger Handaxe Blankets Firewood Torches Flint and Steel The mule carries most of your things in addition to a 10ft ladder, a 10ft pole, and 3 tents.
At around 11 you are all set to go. It's cloudy and calm, and you get the sense that it will start raining soon. You all stop by the Temple of Heironeous and retreive Soabathil; Chet gives him his backpack, etc. You all get to the docks and must pass an Elven security gate. The air is very fresh and moist; the docks are very busy with ships of all sizes. Most seem to be trade ships loaded with cargo but there are a few passenger ships as well. There are plenty of boats on the water, as far as the eye can see upstream and downstream. The river itself is rather wide, about 5000 feet. After Chet gets you past the tight security you all board a large private boat along with some other people. "There isn't a ferry to Holminiodel today. There usually is but I guess the whether isn't staring too kindly at a long river voyage." There are islands and sandbars dividing the river. The boat travels upstream, heading for the small port of Therhafi. About an hour into the voyage, it begins to rain. The differences between the lands of the elves and the lands of men are striking. To the west is lush green foliage extending all the way out into the water. To the east is a rocky shoreline and vast plains. Four hours later, you arrive at the port of Therhafi. It is a small, quiet port. There isn't much commercial traffic, most of that travels to either Holimiondel or Liadon. Chet informs you, "We'll have to walk to Holimiondel. There's a small overland path; Elves prefer the river, I guess. From there, there isn't much place else to go except straight to Vonnor. We'll probably have to camp out on the way. The rain looks like it's lightening up, so let's go." You all pack up and move out on the road upon your horses. At dusk, several of you notice an Elven village in the distance. "They probably don't take too kindly to outsiders," Chet says. " I think it's best that we camp out in the forest unnoticed. " You all make camp and fall asleep. When you wake up, you find yourself in a sack. You cannot move, nor breathe, very easily. All of you are blindfolded and gagged. Your hands and feet are bound by manacles. You can't hear much. It's cold and moist and you're laying on a hard rocky floor.
Edit: Fuck it, 1000 quest exp.

(Wait a second, we don't even get the option to post a watch? I think you told a little too much of the story there.)
Pierre will take 20 on a strength check to burst the bonds. (20 + 4 = 24)

[[Yeah there were a few times where I paused and said to myself 'I really should let these guys roleplay a bit. Well fuck it, they roleplayed enough back there.' ]]
Pierre, you almost break out of the manacles but alas, they hold fast. Now moving around you also notice that you are without your backpack. I assume that if the rest of you shuffle about, you all find that you are without your gear.

(I assume the top of the bag is tied in some fashion, so I won't try to crawl out of the sack.)
Finding that he cannot burst the manacles by strength alone, Pierre decides to wear them down with some sunder attempts. First, he'll work on the ones binding his hands by attacking with his knees. (Monks rule!)
Sunder attack bonus (+7) Sunder damage (1d6 + 5)
Just make a bunch of rolls...

Korbin mutters briefly before pointing as much in a circle as he can, concentrating on the young 'uns he's with. "Everyone alright? I heard some sort of scuffle."
((Message it lasts for a while, we can all whisper to each other))

"Meh, just the usual breakout."
Pierre continues work on busting his manacles.
