Yes, I think 6th level will be appropriate. I will tell you guys more about what will be going on, when I completely decide on what will be happening.
And yes, that was supposed to be a dramatic and difficult battle.

I'm either playing a bard or a druid, either of which will be fairly powerful
Wait...are there druids in Northern Crown?

Of course there are druids.

Brian was a bard in the original, remember? Kyle McCloud, greatest bagpipe player from here to Scotland! (Oh, thought you asked about bards, not druids. Whoops. Still, worth giving props to McCloud)
Is there a pdf of the book or something? Much easier to make a swashbuckler when you know the NC-specific feats and stuff.
And since we're doing mostly Dnd on New Years, you guys still up for some birthday stuff on the 7th? Thinking of picking up UT3 and maybe a second controller, so we could take turns playing online matches.

Upon discussion, I'll play a bard. Not really sure on the backstory and whatnot. But yeah, keep picking stuff.

Gasp! Tynan has revealed some stuff about his character!
*And just then, the Four Horsemen appeared...*

There is no pdf of the book that I am aware of. I think it might be best if you guys just roll up some stats or something, and we make final characters the day we meet. Furthermore I think I have a cool idea for the starting hook-
On the edges of civilization, the Soldiers of Christ (the Jesuits) seek to teach the savages of Northern Crown of God's Glory. But alas, a missionary has grown silent. Fearing that the savage devils have risen up against the great expansion of Uropa, the Jesuits now call for adventurers to seek out the fate of their missionary. And if necessary, seek retribution for the fallen Soldiers of Christ!
A full series of adventurer about Uropan expansion across the untamed continent of Northern Crown and its savage denizens. Obviously, you are highly discouraged from playing any First One (Native) characters, though it may be allowed if you have undergone baptism or something. You do not have to be paladins and clerics and the like, hell you don't even have to be very religious. Just not blatantly against the Church's teachings, basically meaning you can't be a witch or a first one.

Seems I have a dentist appointment on Thursday, so that kinda crosses Thursday off the list.

When is this appointment? Is it an epic, eight-hour oral surgery?
We could also just meet Friday.
Also, I may not play a bard. I forgot one needed to be 10th level to get into Sublime Chord. Oh well.

Yea, looking more towards Friday as well, my family is going out to dinner on thursday.
And yea, I just realized I spelled Jesuits wrong.

I personally thought Jesuists sounded better.

It's at 5, just a cleaning. But as Mark said, Thursday's no good anyway.

Alright, so I'm probably going to play a natural philosopher instead.

I have a really cool idea for an Indian, so when I get back from PA I'll pm you some ideas as to how it might be allowed for the campaign, Mark.
