How's 3 o'clock sound? I will most likely need a ride.

Sounds good to me.
Think Tynan or I will have to pick you up, since Wingus and Dingus take forever getting to Dnd.

I'm going to make it a point to arrive at 3:30.
And Cheese drives anyhow.

I should be able to furnish some sort of ride.

Alright, backstory sent in.
Now, what are the odds that Wingus and Dingus actually have their characters done before the meeting begins? 5:1 odds on no, I say.

Oh yeah, uh, we do have a healer, right? I'd assume Brian since he's the EMT guy, but, you know, it's Brian.
There's only so much a Repair modifier of 10 can do for a human being, you know. (10 skilll points per level, eat it! 6 for smart hero, 3 for Int, 1 for human. Had 50 skill points to use up at level 2, booyah)

Yeah, It'll be me. Then again, I may not be a healer so much, as the guy who's gonna make you feel a little more comfortable while you die.

Ah, so you're a medic.
"I don't heal people. I just make them comfortable while they die."
What skill is the equivalent of Heal in Modern, anyway?

Ok, I was just thinking about this:
I noticed that this adventure really didn't seem to have the umph of our normal sessions. The characters seemed interesting but a little lack luster, and d20 Modern really is kind of a silly system.
So I was wondering how you guys would feel about wrapping this up on New Years, and instead doing like a Northern Crown miniseries for the rest of the break. Our best campaign was that one, and I think like a higher powered adventure (like 6th level going to like 10th or 11th) would be really cool.
I'm more than willing to keep going d20 Modern, I'm just tossing this out there cause it hit me on the way home.

Northern Crown is awesome, and absolutely. I miss spells.

I'm fine either way, I just missed playing something involving dice, pencils, and paper, really.
Modern's just a little weird, since you can take a bullet to the chest and/or head and still be standing. Plus, only one member of this party even always used guns. I mean, the rest of us had a sword cane (later an actual sword), a tool box and a wrench, and a tazer. I guess that's more of a real world scenario, since not everyone packs heat, but it just seemed a bit one-sided when we went up against those 6 thugs with the guns and whatnot. Really, shotgun beats a wrench anyday, even though I find the wrench to be cooler thanks to my affinity for the Ratchet and Clank series (Ratchet uses a wrench as his melee weapon).
So would we be starting up Northern Crown on Wed/Thurs/Fri, then?

That'd be the plan. Probably Thursday or Friday to give you guys the time to create your characters and such (though that might not matter much anyway, judging by today's meeting).
And yes, that battle was supposed to seem one sided, though remember they missed you a lot more than you guys hit them.

Right then. Thinking rake as my class, with pirateness as my culture. Can I get the rake info, along with the appropriate weapon (cutlass, rapier, pistol, that kinda stuff)
That is true. Still, later on the black dude KOed me twice, which was mostly just my fault since I kept trying to shoot him. Avi seemed resovled to stay on the floor, while Tynan and Brian attacked the zombies.

Okay, are we starting at 6th level for sure?
