Found my character sheet for it, and yeah I had a whip, rapier, and short bow. And we definitely weren't fourth level yet, since my character sheet is only leveled up to 3. If I tripped a dire rat, then it means we were fighting them along with whatever was wielding the spiked chains. And I was a support character anyway, I didn't even have any offensive spells.
It would be nice if Tynan could re-inform us of what we were fighting that day, who ever it proves right here.

I couldn't hit the spiked chain kobolds with arrows since they had some crazy armor, and I was busying shooting at the kobold sorcerer that no one else wanted to fight anyway.
The rats was an earlier battle, alongside some more half-orcs. Everyone but I got infected by them, remember? The kobolds was against three or four of the spiked chainers, and the sorcerer.
Support, eh? Why'd you lack Cure Light Wounds, then?

I didn't lack Cure Light Wounds, but I only had 2 casts of it. I probably had already used them from the battle before, or I was too busy trying to stand up, or I just didn't want to impose the Attack of Opportunity. Does that even impose an AoO? It doesn't matter, all that matters is that we suck at D&D if Mark isn't dumbing down the resistance for us and telling us what to do apparently.

I seem to be mixing up the battle between the kobalds and the battle between the half orcs in my head. In the battle against the kobalds with the spike chains, what else where we fighting? I thought I remembered other guys shooting at us during that fight. where there other half orcs and dire rats then?

As Tynan explained it to me there were 3 spiked chain wielding kobolds, 2 pistol wielding kobolds, and a kobold sorcerer. Next, Brian Bards are spontaneous casters, you never have a limited amount of what you were casting unless you meant you could only cast 2 spells of that level. Armor doesn't change whether or not you can hit with an arrow over a melee attack. How could Brian have 3 weapons and steve only have one?!
Finally, I don't really dumb down D&D at all, and rarely do I tell you what to do. I believe it really comes down to the concept that you guys for some reason are intimidated by Tynan GM-ing. When I played alongside you guys there were no problems similar to this Kobold fight. I refuse to believe that the difference between your competence and incompetence is the presence of myself and avi in the party.

Chain Shirt= 100 g Longbow= 75 gp
Studded Leather= 25 gp Rapier, Whip= Very little cost Shortbow= 50 gp
Simple to understand.
Oh yeah, just throwing this out here, but Tynan and I will still have finals even after you and Avi return. I have finals on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, so that only really leaves Wednesday for any possible Dnd time.

A dagger's only 2 gold. Maces aren't much more
I only have finals Tuesday and Thursday next week, but I'm moving on Friday, so I'll have somewhat limited availability that day.

I'm gonna have school until the 19th, and until then I'll be ripping my hair out due to my poor work ethic, so... yeah, I'll be up for D&D whenever.
And whats all this having different kinds of weapons matter anyway?! The two battles we had, I don't remember there being any of the creatures having DR, unless I was just completely oblivious as usual. I'm pretty sure we did poorly because we rushed in unprepared without a plan, plain and simple.

Okay, maybe I had a dagger, but I wasn't about to run in to deal a d4's worth of damage (since the fighter was down on his ass the whole time, as I would've as well had I ran in).
Doesn't matter, it's all in the past and there has never been any proof that Fighter and Warmage's players even exist since they never revealed themselves.
New Year's, we should bring back the Adventures of the Loser Super Heroes Asparaguy, Top Spot, and The Zeppelin/Baby Blaster, plus Tynan.

No one said you were, but you could always try playing one, couldn't you? You wouldn't necessarily have to be bad, just obnoxious. You can still get things done, just in a stupid way that gains no ones respect!

Loser Super Heroes Asparaguy, Top Spot, and The Zeppelin/Baby Blaster, plus Tynan. That sentence says I'm a loser super hero, regardless of what Steve actually meant.
