This is where we'll post summaries of Eberron meetings, and also for any planning you all wish to do. I am also going to use it to ask this, what are your character ideas, and what do u want to know about the setting to help you. And yes, I will be pushing for actual backgrounds, not like: I appeared one day.
Character Creation session: Saturday May 21rst, 7-9 PM... 6: 30 if you want a head start.

Also, since we are playing Eberron, I'll bring a few extra Eberron character sheets with me. And I suppose all of you need copies of the manual...

Background has been changed since deity's have no say in jack squat in the world of Eberron.
Name: Gen'rhophara Tifnus "Ridan" O'Barumforem'sumium Race: Gnome *hides from Brian* +2 Con, -2 Str Class: Cleric. Anyone who brings up the "Clerics are stupid" stereotype will find themselves left with their wounds unhealed. Alignment: Lawful Good Deity: Dol Arrah Domains: Sun and War
Character background: Growing up in Zilargo, Gen'rhophara Tifnus "Ridan" O'Barumforem'sumium had easy access to many books in the vast libraries. Due to his lust for knowledge on all kinds of scales, he started to read up on the ways of Dol Arrah, who just so happen to be the deity that his parents also worshipped. Having been fascinated with her ways, he decided to take it one step farther by becoming one of her clerics. After many years of devoted service to her cause, Gen'rhophara Tifnus "Ridan" O'Barumforem'sumium decided to see more of the world outside of his country. With that, he left his homeland in search of treasure, fame, and money of course! (No gnome can resist riches) Gen'rhophara is the name of his father's clan, O'Barumforem'sumium is his clan elder's chosen name, Tinfus is his real gnomish name, and Ridan is his nickname that you refer to me as. In other words, remember Ridan only.
I really blow at making character bios, but at least it stays on track with the best interests of a gnome; get rich quick.

Make Dwarves your target. It's just funny that way.

Well, i dont really consider dwarves a minority, since they could kick my ass....and yea a gnome could probably too, but id be damned if i ever let that happen.

Aw, is Brian embarresed that a gnome could incinerate him? How cute.
As for how Eberron is different, there are a few new races, new classes, some new spells and domains, and some other stuff. Also, it would seem that the normal deities that we're used to are not in Eberron.

Well Brian besides new stuff, it also offers a new type of feel, it takes magic as technology pretty seriously, and since the world was just at war for over one hundred years the politics and such are still pretty tense, etc. offering for an interesting place to adventure.
Of course, what do you plan on doing in this world, is the real question?

Well, Avi made a copy of it on a disc for me and gave it to me yesterday at D&D. Not sure where you can get it though.

I'll get you a copy of the handbook/s, Brian. Also, can I get a ride home from Star Wars? Steve: DON'T BE A GNOME, YOU IDIOT! I forgot what attribute governs Clerical spells, but I think it's Charisma. Dex wouldn't be too important, but Con would be. Actually, Str wouldn't be too important. You could always go for a crossbow. Invest in Heavy Armor. Be a Human or Half-Elf, or take a look at an Eberronic race (that's right fuckers, Eberronic). But not a gnome. Because gnomes SUCK. I'll get a character ready tonight/tomorrow, and we'll smoothe things out at the meeting. Everyone bring your old character sheets in case we run out of stuff to do ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
