Alright fellas, I've pretty much figured I'll hold my usual d20 New Years Bash! Straight forward as usual, you've got some choices:
I can dig up some D&D stuff. If I can get Iron Kingdoms, a jolly rush through the trenches guns blazing and mystery abounding. One of the crazy d20 Modern Adventures I have, ranging from Horror, to deep in the past, Wild West, to far in the future. Northern Crown Adventure A Farscape romp, time spent in the uncharted territories, blasters blazing, space pirates and peace keepers galore. Mutants and Masterminds of some assortment. Oriental Adventures if I can dig it up again (or if someone has it). Some odd whacky amalgamation...
As you can see, I'm pretty much up for anything, for the moment the offer is up to you four and whoever else we find good for a solid new years bash. We just need some solid role-players and gamers, so yep. Whatever ya want, I threw in my suggestions. We can even cross systems and settings. Use Modern Classes in D&D, use D&D classes in Modern, use Farscape Classes wherever, use M&M for anything. Anything you guys want just give me some notice and I can pull out something.

Anything's fine to me, but the space pirates stands out.

The Farscape game is based around the show Farscape, look it up on Scifi or Wikipedia or something tell me what you think. I am possibily thinking of doing something damn whacky that is gonna throw you all for a loop somehow. Throw some characters together in an odd setting or something.

I think doing some M&M would be cool, as I have yet to play it. However, as usual, I'm up for anything.

We can always do the continuing adventures of the loser superheroes Asparaguy(Avi), Top Spot(me), and the Zeppilin/Baby Blaster(Brian)!
Although, Tynan isn't really capable of playing a loser.
I checked up Farscape on Wikipedia, and it sounds cool.

I have decided, and I think I surpassed the whackiness of previous years with this one. I've out done myself:
D&D in the Wild West.
Shotgun totin' Dwarves. Elves that sling spell and six-shooter. Rounding up a posse to deal with dangerous necromancers. Sword and Pistol cross as banditos face knights. It's a dangerous world out there. I will probably have character blurbs up, I'm thinking level range will be like 6 or 8. There might be chinamen styled martial artists, gun-wielding mages, even traditional knights trying to make it in this wild wild west. No worries though, there should still be the traditional character concepts. I'll set up for a party o' six though I'm not seeing much beyond four.

Elcor Starskipper, Elven Sorcerer 6/Rogue 2: Background-Elcor has been around for ages, well generations in comparison to the humans he often travels with. He has gone across continents honing his natural ability to weave arcane might. It was when Elcor was young that he discovered this talent, and was taken under the wing of a sorcerer who travelled through his home regularly to learn the greatest of arts. Elcor learned of how to channel the power through him, how to properly handle arcane magic, taking it from raw power to delicate masterworks. Eventually, he and his master parted ways, and Elcor had to learn to survive. Over the years, this survival has taken him out of the realm of arcane maigc and into dealings that are slightly more shady. He has taken part in more back alley brawls than he's willing to admit to strangers, and he now keeps his prized six-shooter at his belt and his hand never strays far from it. Personality-Elcor is an aloof weaver of magic, and a deft wielder of the common pistol. He prizes his marksmanship and magical prowess, often holding them high above that of the common man. Elcor is the type of man who thinks out a situation, and is just as willing to slip out using words as he is ready to blow apart things with his magical might. He is far from trusting, or trustworthy, believing mainly in self-preservation. Appearance-Elcor is a tall and lanky man, he travels light, and wears little more than what he needs. Elcor generally wears a battered old coat that covers over his pistol, and extra ammunition, as well as the several daggers he keeps on his person. Beneath this he wears relatively fashionable clothes that keep tight providing solid mobility for battle and arcane purposes.
Phineas “Big Boom” McCallister, Dwarven Fighter 8: Background-Phineas has been around long enough to know that guns are the way of the future. Well, he's thought that since he was a boy and first saw gunpowder explode before his eyes. Ever since he's been fascinated with black powdered and things that explode. He joined up with armies just so he could use their cannons, and set up explosives like tnt. Now he does the same for the highest bidder, and even sometimes works with railroad companies showing people how to set detonators or doing it himself. Anything that lets him blow stuff up he loves. Personality-Big Boom believes himself to be a strong and level-headed sort, this is unless it comes to the one thing he loves: big explosions. He loves things that go boom, McCallister will always solve a solution with the largest explosion if he can. It's all part of the straightforward man he is. He's honest to the point of being blunt and some call it even detrimental. He loves alcohol, and women, and explosions. What else does a dwarf need? Appearance-McCallister is a wide dwarf, big and bulging with a mix of muscles and fat, he wears thick clothing to cover over his simple armor that he wears to protect himself from explosions and anyone else. He wears his jet black hair long and with a thick beard. Big Boom is rarely seen without some TNT and his famous shotgun.
Tuksi, Human Druid 8: Background-Tuksi grew up many miles west of Silverton. His people were simple, and he grew learning of the natural world around him. Then they came, with their thundersticks and lack of respect. They slaughtered his people, and it enraged him. He loosed the power of mother nature on them, and now he travels amongst them learning of their next strike toward people like him, and of course learning of his enemy. Tuksi will claim to be an adventurer and shunned from his people, in reality, he is considered a sort of champion among his own people and the few times he's been caught by the other people he's been charged as a grand criminal. That's why he loves boomtowns no one asks questions. Personality-Silence is Tuksi's favorite word, he stands and simply watches. He respects nature and his deep reverence for it will be one of the few things that drive him to speak, reminding his companions often that they should respect it as well. Tuksi believes that high handed force is what is needed to punish people, and justice is a dish best served with a side of lightning. Appearance-While still obviously a member of a savage tribe, with his multiple tatoos, and mohawk (with feathers attached), Tuksi now wears simple clothes in favor of a loin cloth, though he still keeps his moccasins. He generally dresses in straightforward colors, and when he believes trouble is afoot he throws on a set of hide above this. He rarely seems to carry any weapons though in battle he always seems to have something.
Leopold Merrow, Half-Elf Rogue 5/Theif-Acrobat 3: Background-Leopold grew up in the streets, his father unknown and his mother dead at childbirth, he had to raise himself with the other street urchins. It wasn't long before his basic pickpockets and stealing got him noticed by a big crime boss. Soon enough Leo was working the big time, he was a second story man dashing about rooftops and through windows. He was like a shadow slipping through an area and relieving people of their belongings. Of course, it only took a few tries before his boss realized he was skimming off the top and not fencing everything he took. So, Leo took to the roads, applying his stealthy skills to all sorts of work. Everyone needed a nimble guy who could get where others couldn't. Now he needs a big find to cover his expenses over the past few weeks, just some big break. Personality-A paranoid oppurtunist, Leopold looks for every chance he can to make money and get away. He watches over his shoulder and is suspicious of everyone, always afraid that the crazy crimeboss will come back ready to capture him. Appearance-Leopold wears typical attire for a theif, tight leather that doesn't jingle or shine, just gives enough protection to stop the simplest of attacks. He's a fairly good looking man, and women tend to be overwhelmingly attracted to him especially if he flashes them a smile.
George “Red Fang” Wilkes, Human Bard 6/Dread Pirate 2: Background-Red Fang grew up near the sea, on the tilt of a ship, continually moving with the rock of the sea, listening to what it taught him. Over the years he learned its songs, its powers, he learned how to bend the sea to his will, how to bend the world and those around him with little diddies he sang as he moved. It wasn't long before Red Fang was running his own ship, and he became the scourge of the sea. Of course, he never expected to be captured, and taken off like some common criminal. He was George “Red Fang” Wilkes, there was a reason he had that name, he had killed so many names it had actually stained his teeth, but still he received no respect from the law. Now he's escaped from prison, barely with his own effects and on the run. George can only hope to one day get back to the sea if he can recognize some stars anyway. Still the idea of a land pirate is becomingly increasingly alluring. Personality-Red Fang is a bloodthirsty, womanizing, hot headed, commanding, psycho. He believes in being atop things in all ways, and if you don't like it, he'll cut you down to size or shoot you through the gut. Appearance-Red Fang wheres the typical wear of a pirate: puffy shirt, dashing coat, tight bandana, big stapping boots, and enough swords and pistols to make you wonder how he walks so lightly.
Ninkim Merkopo, Gnome Cleric 8: Background-Ninkim Merkopo grew up in the quaintest of all villages. No harm ever touched his perfect little head, and he felt that there was only one man to thank: God. He believes highly in faith and the power of the lord. Perhaps that is why he was blessed by the mighty Lord to carry forth his word. He went to school, and received his degrees and ordainment from the Church, and believes that faith will prevail overall. Of course, this was all before he actually stepped into the world and saw it for what it was. Ninkim couldn't believe the world, he found it hard to swallow that there were so many evildoers and poor. He became jaded and eventually became the cynics he hated, how could God allow this suffering. Ninkim tries his hardest to stem the tide but he feels he's fighting a losing battle, and there's little else he can do. Personality-Ninkim is now a weary being who feels he is not getting anywhere. He hates most people because he considers them sinners, and can't accept the good left in them. Ninkim doesn't know what to do with himself and simply marches on because that's what he feels the Lord charged him to do, he doesn't know why anymore though. Appearance-Ninkim is dressed in the traditional trappings of a priest. He shaves his head regularly, and occasionally he'll grow a mustache, but he generally keeps clean shaven. He carries a few weapons in his pack, though more feared is his holy cross along his neck.

I must say, your imagination knows no bounds, Mark.
I'm thinking of playing the elf. Or the gnome if no one else wishes.

Just one of the few scenarios I have cooking. I also have a modern adventure involving street racing. A modern horror adventure, with magical elements. And just a name though it could get really crazy called: 15 Minutes to Midnight.
But I find that the D&D in the Wild West is something that hops about in my mind every once in a while so I figured, why fight it?

Hmm...I kinda feel like playing a druid.
Are we going to roll these up ourselves, or are you going to do it as you did last year?

BTW guys, I'm saying arrive around 7 o'clock or so. Also, who the fuck is coming to this thing? I'd like to know. Pick your characters so I can prioritize them on the construction list, and then post them so you can print out their sheets. Speaking of which: Fer you Tynan: Tuksi www.thetangledweb.net/profiler/view.php?id=6430
