[Succeeds by 5. About time I caught a break when making skill checks.]

Dilan hears the distinct noise of someone opening his office door, which last he checked was currently locked.

All attention drawn away from the resilient stain on the floor, Dilan rushes towards his office, taking care to peeking around a corner at whoever it is that is breaking and entering.
[Do I need to make another Perception check to get a good look at whoever it is?]

((If you're taking the time to peek around the corner yes, and I'd also like a stealth check))

Mr. Nock can see a student, wearing black clothing standing outside of his now open office door slowly moving in to it. He doesn't seem to notice Mr. Nock.

Dilan thinks to himself, I've got to stop this kid. If he's involved in this, it's up to me to set him straight for his own good. Stepping out from behind his cover, he speaks in a clearly audible voice, "I wouldn't do that if I were you, son."
[Out of curiosity, is this the same day?]

[This is the next day, during school hours no less!]
The kid pauses for a moment, and looks over his shoulder at Mr. Nock he then says, "Just taking back what's mine." He then proceeds into Mr. Nock's office.

"Son, I don't think you realize what you're toying around with. Leave it be, and save yourself from even more trouble than you're already in. Believe me, you don't want to get involved with this kind of stuff; not only is it dangerous, but it can and will bring ruin into your life." His expression growing darker, Dilan continues, "I should know, for it ruined mine."
[Awesome, Persuasion check succeeds by 6!]

The young man turns around and now that Dilan can get a good look at him, he realizes that the young man looks somewhat off. His eyes are sunken, and blood shot, and his skin is abnormally pale, and Dilan swears he can spot the kid's veins. The boy growls and then says, "I'm not going to be lectured by the weak." He then steps into Dilan's office and shuts the door with a slam.

[Dammit, thought I had finally solved a Dnd problem without violence. Oh well.]
Opening the door, Dilan says, "Very well, then. You leave me no choice, son. Know that I do this for your own good." Drawing forth his bow, Dilan unleashes a different bolt of energy that ensnares the creepy-as-hell student.
[CSLs into DCV, Entangle hits DCV 5, has 3 Body and 3 rPD and rED.]
Immediately following the attack, Dilan will attempt to contact the principal through whatever the fastest mean is present, preferable a nearby phone.

The Creepy-As-Hell Student narrowly dodges the entangling ectoplasm and shouts, "I've had it with this!" In a fluid motion he pulls out a switch blade and runs it quickly down his wrist while letting out a deep guttural noise. A shower of super-heated steaming blood comes flying at Mr. Nock.
((Taking it or aborting your phase 4?))

[Question: assuming I have a cell phone or something, can I still call the principal and security while aborting actions?]

((Not while aborting, but on a normal action, yes since talking is a free action.))

[OK, then I'll abort. What's Dive For Cover give again? I aim to stay low so I can call for security, don't want to kill the student by accident or anything.]
