The end of the day in early September brings about a sense of relief that is hard to come by most days for you. Of course even though the students are on their way home, and the after school athletic events are over there are still a few last things to do before the day is done. You find yourself performing your standard locker room checks as the day comes to an end. As you're walking through the main locker room however you slip on something strange on the floor.

Taking a moment to steady himself and recover from the sudden and unexpected rush of adrenaline, Dilan Nock looks down upon whatever it is that he just slipped on (Perception check, succeed by 4).
[OOC: Would you prefer if I describe the actions from a 1st person PoV, or is third fine outside of speaking?]

((Third Person is Fine))
After Dilan is able to steady himself he finds that what caused him to slip was a strange lump of clear goo. It doesn't seem to have any sort of particular smell, it is slimy to the touch, and squishes gently in his hand. Dilan knows that no one else is around, though he is capable of spotting a slick across the tiles in several other parts of the locker room. He is fairly certain that none of the students are trying to play a prank by leaving something around for him to slip on.

[OK. Also, do I have a bow on me, or is there the room where the gym equipment is stored nearby?]
Dilan attempts to use his past experiences to try to figure out the source of the strange goo in the locker room, dwelling upon the strange and supernatural occurrences he's witnessed moreso than that of childish pranks. (Deduction check, succeed by 1)

(No you keep your bow in your office, which are nearby)
Dilan is fairly certain that this is ectoplasm left behind by a ghost slipping in and out of corporeality.

As soon as the idea of a ghost comes across his mind, Dilan races towards his office to retrieve his weapon, the memory of his sister's demise burning his thoughts. Once he has it in his grasp, he readies it for some (for lack of better words) ghostbusting.
[Noncombat move of 12 inches per phase. Since my Ego is only a 10 and the Disadvantage presents itself as a -5 to Ego rolls to change my mind, what would I have to roll to not assault the ghost upon sight?]

Dilan returns to the locker rooms and begins to carefully prowl through the lockers, leading with his bow as he goes.
((Could I get an Int Roll 11-, Perception Roll, and it's a 6 or less for you to not attack ghosts on sight))

[Int roll succeeds by 4, Perception succeeds by 0, roll to not attack fails by 6. Heh.]

((Well you don't see a ghost, so I don't really know why you made that roll))
Dilan is able to follow the bits of goo and trails of slime to one of the team lockers that is currently out of use. The room is dark, and as Dilan steps into the room he knows that the room is covered in the ectoplasmic trail of a ghost. Nothing however seems to leap out at him immediately as he prowls through the small space of lockers.

[Dunno, maybe the ghost would be semi-transparent or something, like in Harry Potter?]
Failing to spot out the intruder, Dilan's voice reverberates throughout the locker room: "Here me, spirit! I am giving you one chance; reveal yourself and surrender, and I will make your passing from the mortal realm as quick as possible. Refuse my offer, and I promise that you shall wish you never chose to take on this false semblance of life!"
[Persuasion check succeeds by 1.]

The air grows cold as Dilan stands at the ready at the door to the team locker room. As he stands at the ready, the hair on the back of his neck standing up straight, he hears a rough voice reverberate from seemingly all around him, "Go fuck yourself."

"Very well, monster. Have it your way." At this, a sphere of energy collects at the drawn bowstring. With a loud thwang, Dilan lets loose the bowstring; the sphere of energy takes the form of an arrow, which takes off directly ahead of the archer.
[Apply CSLs to DCV since I doubt I'm lined up directly with the ghost; AoE One Hex Affects Desolidified Energy Blast hits DCV of 6 (11+ OCV of 5 - roll of 10); deals 21 Stun at the off-chance that the ghost is in front of me.]

The blast his a region in the center of the locker room, though there is no shriek of incorporeal terror. Instead, Dilan is only met with a cold unearthly laugh, and the words, "Well that's interesting."

"You shades are not the only beings that have dabbled into these arts. Though I have not turned my powers towards vile purposes as you surely have, monster! Show yourself and fight, coward!" Enraged, Dilan lets loose another ethereal projectile, this time at about 45 degrees to the left of the previous shot.
[Again, CSLs into DCV. Energy Blast hits DCV of 8 (16-8), 18 Stun if hits. Assuming Phase 12 passed, right? Also for the hell of it, Perception succeeds by 5 in the hopes of spotting something to give its location away.]
[Mental note: Detect Ghosts would have been very helpful. Damn.]

((Your action began Phase 12 this time))
The blast lets loose another loud boom, with a shocking flash of light but still once again there are no ghostly cries of pain or agony. As he looks around, he is capable of spotting a faint outline of a person at the far end of the room, next to a set of lockers.
((Post Phase 12 recovery))
