Hey Tynan, you know how you told me my sword's total enchancement could not be +4 since I had two +1 bonuses on it plus the +2 from kensai? Well, the book does state that weapons can gain magical properties instead of a +1 to attack and damage. As a fourth level kensai, this can be a total of +4 from spending some XP instead of gold, so couldn't I use two of that to get the shock and spell storing, and the other two towards making the sword be a +2? In other words, I'd save my 8,000 gold yet still have the sword the way it was.
Also, I am thinking of changing my race to dwarf instead. Seems more fitting for a Germanic warrior.

I decided to switch from my Monkey Madness idea, and be a Natural Philosopher instead, because that seems to fit the idea of this one-shot. I am a British Lord who is also a professor at Oxford, and an adventuring Natural Philosopher. I am constantly accompanied by my African bodyguard Matumbe (10th level fighter). When adventuring I have an attache from the Royal Army totaling 23 men (20 first level fighters split into platoon 10, lead each by a 2nd level fighter, and the entire squad lead by a 3rd level fighter, Go Go Followers!).

Steve:
Yes, you could. There's another footnote to that effect.
Mark:
Shame about the Monkey Monkey Madness thing. But natural philosophers are cool too.

Excellent. I'm gonna replace my cloak of resistance +2 to +1, adding 3,000gp to my current funds to buy a rod of empower, lesser. I'm not gonna go dwarf, I'll leave it at human.

He stands straight towering above you, a man so in touch with the Lord that he himself is a god amongst men. He is an intimidating sight, to say the least. Although he seems to never make eye contact, there is an unearthly peace about him. The winds seem to move at his command. His childhood was spent in rural southern Scotland, and he experienced much of the northwestern Europe area as well with his parents and twin sister Elizabeth Marie. They hunted together; he was fiercely protective of her. They were both raised devoutly Christian, mostly homeschooled, and got along very well. Before being homeschooled, however, Elizabeth was bullied quite often at the schools they attended for being a tomboy. Their parents pulled them out of school after urgent pleading. Around this period they began moving around. Later, Elizabeth married a kind young man and moved to Sweden where they bought a farm together. Her brother, however became a servant of the Church. At this point he was much in tune with nature and had little respect for people, trusting and getting along with only a select few friends. He looked down on them and studied humans as humans study animals -- very scientifically indeed, unexpectedly so as a man of God but only so fitting for a hunter. He views himself as a vessel for God's will, he carries it out silently and efficiently. And although he realizes that people do not understand his methods, the only thing he dislikes more than being questioned is when God's will is disputed. Enter Scott Frank Heathers, the Great. [which led into my character stats]
"Do you think I obey him? That fool in the robes who claims to hear the voice of God? He may hear it, but he certainly does not feel it! Do you think I serve the Church? This organization of similar ignorant twits, whose only credentials is the money to build a stone temple of falsities? O ye who be so naive! Do not accept their words with your ears, accept God's words with your heart, as I have done, as few have done. With thrill of the hunt and the intimacy with nature God has imbued in me, my purpose is more clear than the holiest waters. I am a disciple of God and forever I shall be."
