Hahahaha! I have started my own thread!
So, I really just wanted to say that I looked over the Multipower and Variable Power rules, and that I won't allow Variable Power Pools, but I am going to allow Multi Power Pools, with a maximum of a 100 point pool. I still think 100 points might be too much points, but eh, whatever.
Also, I'm going to restrict applying advantages to the power reserve. As I'd prefer if you applied advantages to your power slots individually, but if you really feel it would make more sense having the advantage applied straight to the reserve, ask me first and we'll talk about it. Maybe I'll allow it at a higher cost, but one that would still be more cost effective than buying them for each power individually.
And again, for reference: 250 character points, and 50 points in disadvantages, totaling 300 points. Multipower pool max of 100 points Damage cap of 20d6 normal, and 6+1/2d6 killing. CV cap of 32

What about limitations to Multipowers?
I'm probably going to play some sort of ranged fighting robot, suitable for an awesome campaign with cool guys.
Also, damage/cv caps?

I haven't read that far into the book yet! One step at a time! Also, I'm going to have some sort of setting posted by the end of the day, so heads up on that.

They're not that complicated - just max dice of damage on attacks, and max sum of OCV/DCV (or ECV/DECV).

My guy is about 90% done, contrary to my earlier report. I am mostly just tweaking a few things around.
Now, he is complete. I'll submit a small backstory once Brian posts the setting.

The City of Megatropolis!
A large city on an island far off the western coast of the United States, its population is composed of over 99% super humans. With super powers being common in the city, not many people take up to training and properly learning to harness their powers, but the ones who do are bound for fame, or infamy!
While a large number of super villians are constantly springing up in the city, so are super heros, and thus super battles are nearly constant within the streets of Megatropolis. Sadly, the tall buildings in which business tries to take place can only withstand so much, and so costly reconstruction is almost another constant within the city. To help disperse the constant battles between good and evil, theres the citys police force - The Megatropolis City Super Guard, or MCSG for short. These super men and women fight to end the fighting as quickly and safely as possible, even if that means to take out both sides of the original conflict.
And so you, the players, are officers in the MCSG. and are being sent out to deal with a gang brawl thats reported to have broken out within the streets....
OK, so obviously you all have to be a part of the MCSG in some way or another, you'll be your own squad, and you should decide one of you to be the squad leader. You're all average MCSG officers, with the exception of who you choose to be the leader, who will be a rank above the rest of you. Being "average" doesn't in any way mean boring or normal, since the only reason a MCSG officer would ever be called out is for something important that a normal super human couldn't handle. Since it is Earth, and generally the same time period as today, You should all be human, unless you can think of some great reason as to why an alien would be on Earth and in the police ranks.
You are also all encouraged to wear your MCSG officer uniforms. A stylish, form fitting, primarily white spandex, complemented with a dark, navy blue armor. Before you ask, the armor provides no actual bonus, its merely for visual effect.
And I can't think of anything else that I wanted to say, so speak up if you have questions or comments and the like!

Sending in my backstory.

I put up damage and CV caps in the first post. Made it more than Marks campaign, since you start with more points, and it'll probably be more fun for you guys having giant attacks and such. If it blows up in my face, it'll be another lesson learned. Haven't decided on an ECV cap, since I still don't have the full grasp of it, but for now there isn't and there most likely wont be one. If I read it more in detail and discover that it really needs a cap, I'll put one on it and hope it doesnt interfere to much with your characters, but really, I don't plan on putting a cap on it.
So instead I encourage you all to make moderately well rounded characters and please don't abuse my lack of understanding for the system! Thanks! ;D

But how will my gaseous blob wear a uniform?

Avi: You could just turn the color of the uniform. You are a gaseous blob after all.
And also, my character will be the super-awesome guy who turns into the war bot Omega V. Still under construction at the moment.

I'm gonna wait to see what other people do. Avi you could also go Johann Kraus style and wear a containment suit with a glass bubble head.

Well, you are pretty much just waiting on Avi, then, since Tynan and I have said some general stuff about our guys. I assume, as a robot, Tynan will be focused on ranged attacks, whereas I'm focused in melee. I will diverge that I am most likely the fastest at Speed 8, I have better defensive capabilities than my former character, and I have quite a few tricks up my sleeve...
And we're meeting around 5:30 or 6 on Thursday at Monkeyhead, right?

Ah, see I had no idea what you built, could only assume a high speed. The first character I designed is currently a very simple design, an alien melee fighter who works with the MSCG. A good speed (6), damage cap-ed melee attack (6 1/2d6), an OCV that can get up to 14, and a DCV that can get up to 17 in melee if the situation truly called for it. Though Steve if you want the melee slot, I'd happily make something else.

No reason why we can't have two melee combatants, like in yours. My HTH attack deals a total of 14d6 normal damage, but I do possess an Energy Blast. So, if you want to be all melee, I can focus more on being split.
Also, anytime you want to see my character sheet, Brian, I can send you a copy.

A copy of all your character sheets would be nice, I know Mark has already sent me his. Don't feel you need to rush anything though, since I'm still reading and haven't even made any enemies for you yet. The ideas are all in my head, I'm just having trouble making the time to do stuff.
Thursday, 6:00 at Monkeyhead sounds fine.
And yes Steve, the suit can come with a mask.
