Lot of S-words in that title, did not plan that.
So yes, this is for my SWS campaign that will serve as a different game for us to play alongside of Tynan's Dnd. Grim/Whatever the hell you call it.
I am looking at the setting to be 137 ABY (After the Battle of Yavin), at which point the newly-resurrected Sith Order has joined with the Imperial Remnant to regain control of the Galaxy, crushing most of the New Republic and New Jedi Order and forcing those who surrendered to join them (Imperial Knights! Fun stuff.) Emperor Roan Fel controls the Galactic Empire during the Sith-Imperial War, although Sith Lord Darth Krayt also declared himself Emperor in 130 ABY. They have fought each other over the position for 7 years as the remnants of the Jedi and Republic have viewed the events in secret. If you aren't familiar with what happens after the movies, read Wookieepedia. (By setting the campaign after they stopped writing books, I can say whatever the hell I want to, but with just 7 years between the end and the campaign I still have some stuff to base my ideas around. It's win-win!)
I am thinking you'll start at level 5, so the new comers to SWS can have some idea of what they'll base their character around. Easier to make a plan for your character from level 5 rather than level 1. All races but Ewoks are allowed, since I'm saying their home was the first nuked by the Yuuzhan Vong and none were spared. (They were hunted down to the last and made into fur cloaks that non-Yuuzhan Vong later found fashionable after the invasion was over. Most clothing after the war was made from Ewok fur.) Only other thing is that I will not allowed Wookiee Jedi, makes no damn sense and Rage is a bit too powerful no matter what RPG you're playing.
Also, no Destiny Points. B-R-O-K-E-N.
Edit: Oh, you'll be part of the the remains of the Jedi and Republic. Haven't decided more than that, but I have a general idea of how the campaign will go down. Any new Expanded SW books released between now and the end of the campaign will be disregarded, since I am too lazy to alter anything to fit the ideas of that bastard Salvatore. Chewie is not dead, damnit!
Edit 2: Lack of internet after a tiny power outage resulted in boredom, so I put together most of the stuff for the first meeting. If you want, we could start the SW campaign before Tynan's Dnd since he said he'd take a while to get ready. Only obstacle is me working during the school year, since the majority of it is on the weekends because Waldbaums demands weekend workers.
