So....I've done in depth looks at human lands, and some Dwarf Clans (Avi still claims that I did too many of those), so now I come to another few countries and peoples who must be given in depth descriptions, mainly: Vandalia, Bazavluk, and the Gnome lands....
So which one do you want me to do, first response is the one I'll do so hurry and post!

Vandalia: The proud Elven nation of Vandalia has a long and rich history originating to ages long past. The first elves were not the Elves that we know today, though they did still live in the land now referred to as Vandalia. The original elves were hardy, intelligent, and particularly powerful, they had begun delving into the Arcane arts at the same time as the other great races though they were not as skilled as Dragons or Giants, they were still had large amounts of raw arcane energy, which some say rivaled that of some Gods (many theologists believe that this natural gift for the arcane arts was removed from the Elven people creating the lack of sorcerers among them today). Eventually these Elves left for mountain tops, and many say the Grey Elves are their descendants (if not them). The High Elves quickly arose from pagan rituals to complex studying of the essence of magic. The Elves for a large part of their history were divided, many sects existed, mainly organized by region, ruler, and philosophy, the Elves could nver quite organized. Then as the historical battles between Elf and Dwarf began, it became obvious that the well-organized and agreeable Dwarves would eventually triumph over the split Elves. So, a leader emerged, a lowly soldier calling himself Van Dalla rose up from the ranks of the Baron Duvall's army (The Duvallan Barony is located in the general region of the city of Van). He called to his people to form up together, with their many skills they could strike the Dwarves a great blow. To the surprise of many nobles, many common people (who of course were the fighters, mages, clerics, and laborers of the seperate domains) rallied behind this youth, and he a commoner, not a noble, lead the charge against the Dwarves forcing them back into their holds. Van was dubbed King by the nobles, and Baron Duvall gave him his personal city also renamed after the new king. The Age of King Van was a time of growth, a middle class rose, and over time has grown to form the bulk of Vandalia's population, the country spanning organization known as the Mage's Guild was fully sanctioned by King Van and began many different projects that resulted in the Elven Skiff and Elven Airship. By the end of King Van's rule, the Elves ere the world leader, this of course has resulted in arrogance and ignorance in recent years. In recent years, the Elves have lost their granduer, the cities of Caladon, and Doppler have become the centers of commerce and advancement in the world, and the Elves old-style view of the world often hinders them in decision making, most Elves are surprisngly content with their peaceful cities, large amounts of wilds, and lack of action in world polotics, though there are still many noble houses that sit and long for the old glory of Vandalia. The Vandalian government is a monarchy supported by a house of lords. For the most part, the monarch makes most decisions and recieves advice from the House of Lords when they themselves come to a decision. Most debates last a few decades which of course is not much in Elven standards but does speak that the "Old Man of Alusterus*" is slow moving as well as rigid in their policies. Overall, Vandalia is still stuck in old ways, villages are few and far between, there is only one city (which is a near-metropolis), and their major profit comes from farming.
Alusterus:This is the universal name for the continent upon which the campaign is set. The name, has existed for millenia and was originally agreed upon by the Giants and Dragons in what is now known as the Alusterus Conference, which of course drew the borders of their empires at the now Dwarf-Hold Mountains. As an added bonus, I shall also tell you what the name of the world is as well, the world was dubbed Edar by the Dragons and the name has simply stuck ....

Diggery Doo: The ancestral home of the Gnomes lies in the norhtern part of Diggery Doo, in the capital city of Derro'Guolbur'Kartal, meaning in ancient Gnomish City of God. According to Gnome legend here were planted the seeds of Gnomish civilization, supposedly Kartalaflink birthed the Gnomes through the world, and they were thrust out from the earth, and pulled out by some of Kartalaflink's kindest creature Badger. Eventually the Gnomes gleaning power through prayer to Kartalaflink (they learned of their god from Badger), grew into a small city-state founded upon the basic principles of their God. As the Gnomes spread, they learned of the Dwarves who they believe to be some sort of lost cousin since they too were born of the earth itself, and they had many a great war with the Halflings a race of peculiar people that believed the Gnomes were encroaching upon some sort of holy lands. As the Gnomes grew in power they eventually began reaching out into the owlrd wishing to spread the word of their God, as they expanded so did their culture. They slowly changed from clerics and devout followers to merchants, this of course eventually lead to the establishment of the Merchant Princes, a group of southern merchants who still held the belief of Kartalaflink but concentrated upon worldly possessions, they regulated trade for thousands of years. Eventually the clerics became elitists, and a type of fuedalism ruled the Gnomes for some time, during this period the common man of course concentrated on common tasks smithing, woodworking, farming, etc. As time passed the Clerics became the rulers of the Gnomes, and learning of divine magic was completely controlled by them, and so commoners continued their spiral into crafting. Eventually a young smith by the name of Doppler would start the rift that would eventually split the people of Diggery Doo, Doppler through his experiments eventually developed the steam engine, of course the events that happened when he revealed his inventions are far different from what Diggery Doo or even Namfoodle say, in reality Doppler was labled a heretic by the Church and forced to flee to the port city of Gorash, once there he allied himself with the Merchant Princes who at this point were on the end of their ropes, since the Church had been keeping them from trading for a few decades now. People like Doppler, smiths who had delved into odd inventions, fled to the city as an army of the Church made a march south. There they made what they assumed would be a last stand, but instead after a very short battle, the Church decided that the inventions were dangerous to people and therefore should be kept in the confines of the city the Engineers had chosen. The Church seeing how quickly the Merchant Princes had been prepared to leave the nation gave them back the right of free trade. At this point the seeds of Civil War had been planted amongst all of the people, and the continuing centuries were a tense time in which the leaders of Diggery Doo continually feared that the Engineers and Merchant Princes would secede....
Next, we'll take a look into Namfoodle, both the Heretic/Prophet, and the Country forged in the blood of the Gnomes!

Namfoodle...
As previously stated the following centuries after Doppler were tense, and dangerous, anyone found studying Engineering was charged with crimes against the people and publicly killed. Engineers had to sit by and watch as their brothers and sisters were slaughtered for having the simplest of inventions, even books upon Engineering were enough to put one's head on the chopping block. As time passed, Halflings saw the tension in Diggery Doo as a way to claim back their holy lands, and these attacks are one of the many things that spurred a lone Engineer into action. Faurquar Dilirus Namfoodle was a middle-aged Engineer in the city of Doppler, he was not the most skilled in the laboratory but in a social or political setting the man was considered brilliant. He often pointed out how the "Old Gnomes" (those who followed the Church) lorded ancient rights and magical prowess over the common man, meanwhile they shook in their boots at the guns used by the Merchant Princes' armies, he also pointed out how no Gnome in recent history was truly able to channel the divine power of their god, which often lead him to ask, what had happened to their god? Many people in Doppler saw him as extremely wise, but the "Old Gnomes" saw him as the most dangerous thing since the steam engine itself. It came as no surprise when he was charged with Heresy, he took it in stride and asked for a public trial, it was granted but none of the Bishops could understand why he asked for such, it became evidence in his speech:
I, stand here charged with Heresy, or as one could refer to it, speaking my mind! I look out and see sad, war weary faces. Does not my being here not prove what I say true? The Church of the Almighty Kartalaflink is stabbing at shadows and ghosts of people long dead with their public executions the Church expends resources that could be better used to fight a war we are losing! They put me here on trial not just because I'm speaking against them, but becuase of the arts that I practice, they hate the Engineers, becuase they know our power is greater than theirs! I ask you Bishops, explain the intent behind your crusade against Engineers, what is the point? *Pause* Your silence speaks far more than you realize! You put me on trial to rid yourselves of my outcries, but I am not the first nor will I ever be the last, if you kill me here all you shall do is dig your own graves!
At that moment people in the courtroom let off explosives made of black powder, the Civil War had begun, Namfoodle was quickly evacuated to the city of Doppler, and soon enough armies were assembled, the city was fortified and prepared, in a week's time, the Siege of Doppler began. The bloody siege that occured was simply put astounding, from within the city shots and explosions flew outward decimating the opposing forces, at one point, the Diggery Doo army broke into the city, but a bulk of their forces were struck down by explosions, and the rest of the invasion force was brought down by gunfire. Over the following years, battles raged all throughout the south, and as time passed new inventions were created. The Airship quickly became the weapon of choice when sieging Diggery Doo encampments, and rockets were also developed allowing for pre-emptive strikes against Diggery Doo. Now both nations are war weary, and await the end to what could most likely be a never-ending conflict.

For anyone truly curious about the Government of each nation it's very simple...
Diggery Doo: Theocratic, ruled directly by a Pope like figure called The Grand Clerical Bishop, who is advised by a council of Bishops elected from Priest level Clerics (Clerics who have their own temples). For the most part the country is split up into fiefdoms, fiefdoms are given to Priests who have their own temple, or occassionally valiant Paladins who garner such attention. The country has a universal set of laws, and a Priest and or Paladin is a judge and inquisitor in such disputes. Each fief maintains a small militia which normally serves as guards in a town. Groups of Note- Church of Kartalaflink-The ruling body of the nation, it has a ranks system as follows: Initiate: Someone learning the basics of the Church, all civilians are considered Initiates. Monk: A Cleric in training, many monks exist, a person who is called a Holy Monk is not a Monk. Cleric: Knights of the Church, they go around the world and country doing what Kartalaflink or the Church commands them. Priest: A Priest is a Cleric who rules a fiefdom. Holy Monks are considered equal to priests but their circle of influence is whatever is within their monastary walls. Bishop: Priest elected to help govern the country. There are 12 at one time. Grand Clerical Bisop: The Head of State and Church.
Paladins of Kartalaflink: The Knights and Crusaders of the God, they are affiliated with the church, and are generally called Temple Knights. Temple Guardians: These are highly skilled people normally Paladins or Clerics, they serve as a branch of the government in charge of defense, and espionage, they are equivalent to a combination of the CIA, FBI, and NSI.
Namfoodle: Namfoodle is a democracy, they are ruled by a president who is elected by the people, and approved by the Merchant Princes (they have never refused a president). A President serves 10 year terms, and the current leader is Jerome Whistler, the gnome has been in office for 4 terms and will probably be there for longer due to the success in the last 40 years of the war. Namfoodle is seperated into provinces that generally govern themselves, a leader of a province is normally a Merchant Prince, though in Doppler it is the leader of the Engineering Guild. Each town is ruled by an elected Mayor, all mayors within a province are able to impeach the Merchant Prince ruling them. Groups of Note- Engineers-The Engineers are considered the pioneers and some believe them deserving of leadership, but the Engineers feel it more important to keep peace and continue with their experiements than to bother ruling. Socialists-A group of communists who believe that the current struggle represents the perfect fight between Commoners and Aristocrats, and believe that they will be able to fulfill the Halfling, Shirai Okina's prophetic dream of complete equality among all people's.

You should have:
"Campaign Setting Number 2" with stuff like that and
"Important stuff" So maybe I'd have some miniscule amount of motivation to scan for some keywords in a post.
