New Year's Plans, does anyone got any? As of right now, I am inbetween going to a huge party or having an RPG bash, in which we'd play pre-fab adventures and ring in the new year!
If 6 people are interested I have a few interesting pre-fabricated adventures, to more than a few systems.
First off I know of and create enough D&D adventures to fill up a good portion of the night. Second, I recently came upon the most interesting of books, a Mecha book, and well the plethora of Near-Future adventures that can be created with such rules is mind-boggling, and of course they're all super-cool Third, I still have Merri's copy of Vampire: The Masquerade if we wish to run moody, and creepy games as members of The Kindred (Vampires) Fourth, odd d20 Modern Adventures... Fifth, A combination based upon the wishes of the masses...
Alright kids, I am accepting 6 people, 8 if extra people are really interested, note this only happens if I get at least 5...If 4 people here sign up, and one or two of them brings another person, well yeah that'd work too, I'll tell you if slots fill up from outside the party.
So currently 4 signed up, 2 slots available.

Avi, I think you're a few too many miles away ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) . I acctually did something like this last year- this was the day of the d12 and the LARPing with fuzzy pink pens if anyone is curious. Oh yes, and an hour long battle which was 4 PC's vs 1 Kobold. Yes, you have read that right. 1 hour. So, me being the geek that I am, would be interested (of course my mom would want to know times and stuff before she said Ok.....) And, if there's a spot or whatever, I know someone who has only played on well.... the New Year's Eve thing I had last year, so obviously she doesn't know how to play. She's interesting in it though.

That'd be two slots filled then, 4 left! Hurry sign up now before you lose this once a year oppurtunity!
On a side note Avi: if you were to arrive in America for the party than you would certainly be allowed in, but since you won't be getting here till the day my new miniatures arrive (January 3rd), then no you cannot.
4 signed up, 2 slots left.

Don't count my friend in until I ask her. I don't even know if she'll be aloud- if she wants to. And is this a 'sleepover' type thing, or do we have to be picked up at a really wierd time in the morning (read: before 7 o'clock.) Cause my mom isn't going anywhere at two in the morning

Awesome! Just as a note, I think I am gonna keep it all on the d20 system, therefore no Vampire (besides making characters in Vampire is long enough that pre fab or doing it on the spot would take to long), so then I think I am going to have a D&D one appropriate for this time of year, and a Mech one set in the near future (which should be cool, I hope), both will use pre-fabricated character so all you guys need to bring is dice and miniatures if you got 'em, and good spirit!

![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) Well-well... fine! I'll just 'celebrate' 2005 10.5 hours before you guys! I think the family is going to force me to some religious thing tomorrow. Meh. I hope they don't notice my earphones...

So, would we play Dnd to ring in the New Year from 6 to 1 at your house Mark? If so, I may be interested. Either Dnd all night long or go to some weird friend of my mom's with lots of crazy 11 year olds. Tough choice, huh?
Updated @ 9:30 - Oops. Didn't see your post about how it's at your house. I'm so lazy to not fully take in posts.
PS: Could anyone give me a ride home? That's the only way I can go since my parents don't want a set time to leave their friends.

I have a question: In prefab games, we don't gain any exp or items for our normal characters, right? It's just for fun, correct?
And I still need someone to take me home at the end. I live right near Sagamore Jr. High.
