That is true.
I feel unclean, since I'm finally getting around to beating Emerald purely to send some stuff from it to Pearl. Like the Master Ball, Leftovers, PP Max, some TMs. Makes me feel like I'm cheating in a way. Beat the 7th gym earlier.

A lot of people mock it because of the TV show. The infamous "Aim for the horn" still runs rampant to this day. But Mark doesn't appear too bothered by Brian and I playing the games. The games are nothing like the TV show. Ie; Pikachu sucks in the games, and there is no way he'll ever take down a Rhydon. Plus there's the whole limit to just four moves. I will admit, Pokemon is the biggest merchandise whore out there, the two versions of the games (well, three really, but the third always has a lot of new stuff) the smallest bit of that. So much PokeCrap... I find it entertaining. I also have played the games enough to know it is not like the show.

Well, for the past ten years, it has been obvious that Ash is trying to kill Pikachu, so it makes complete sense for him to throw it up against Rhydon, or any rock/ground type. He is not! Ash loves Pikachu.

That's what he wants you to think.
Brian, more English names revealed at GDC:
-Grotle and Torterra, the evolutions of Turtwig. -Monferno and Infernape, the evolutions of Chimchar. -Prinplup and Emploeon, the evolutions of Piplup.
Torterra is badass, Infernape is okay, and Empoleon is terrible. No Pokemon should be named after Napoleon.

Wait, does he look like Napoleon? Cause If the last evolution is a giant penguin wearing a Napoleon hat and vest, and hes got his hand tucked in the front with a sword in the other... that would just be the most bad-ass pokemon ever.

No, he just has a Gundamy head crown thing. He does have a serious look on his face though.
The name pretty much comes from the fact that Nintendo says that Piplups are very proud Pokemon, even refusing food from their owners. So it acts snobby.
Got Sonic and the Secret Rings today. It's exactly what Heroes and 360/PS3 Hedgehog should have been; a good game. Cheezey 80's rock for the win!

I have abandoned the giant turtle in favor of the penguin. Pengy has 11 resistances and one immunity, and only has three weaknesses. Thst is cool.
Eevee's new Grass evolution has replaced the turtle. He's cool. Only 9 days left.

Way to jump the band wagon there Steve... and its about time it got some new evolutions, always seemed stupid that you couldn't use a grass stone on it....

It's a penguin, and I am a weak individual. Plus the Turtle's Grass/Ground typing gets him raped when Ice Beam shows itself. I'd rather have one that is 4x resistant to Ice and one that is only 2x weak to it.
Yeah, it was pretty stupid that you could never use the Leaf Stone. You actually have to level eevee in certain places to get it's Grass and Ice forms.

I have decided to name my Pengy after Nils Olav, the Commander-in-Chief of the Norweigan King's Guard. Why would I name him after this guy?
This guy is a penguin, not a guy.
Or there's always Frobisher, the shape-shifting alien who likes the penguin form, from the Doctor Who Monthly comic strips.

Because my penguin is not a common everyday penguin! He's smarterer than the average bird!

Fine. Well, I'm totally taking that name, since it works, and I'm too lazy to think up a new one.
Actually, chances are that I won't even rename it...but if I did, I would call it Pengy....

Peh, my Nils Olav can totally take your Pengy on.
Give any thought as to your other five yet, Brian?

No, but I think I know what there respective types will be. I'm thinking water (Pengy), ice, ground/rock, flying/bug, and electric, and then the last one is between fire, fighting, dark, or ghost. a fire/fighting or dark/ghost would be better....
I don't plan on using a guide at all through this one, cause I want it to be surprised with the new pokemon and such. Plus, I doubt pokemon can really catch me off guard with anything puzzle wise, so I shouldn't need one.
