About a week and a half after the events in his classroom...
Mr. Marston is relaxing one fine Saturday afternoon, going about his studies in his attic while his wife and child are out for the day running some errands. Arthur normally relishes such time for the peace, quiet, and solitude allow him to further his research, but surprisingly he hears the door bell ring. Figuring it might be a package or the like, he comes to the door and opens it to find a very curious figure standing before him. Standing under the eaves of his porch is a man dressed in a long black overcoat that most certainly must be sweltering especially above his immaculate and well tailored dark suit. Stranger still the man is wearing a pair of dark leather gloves, and in his hand is an umbrella despite the lack of clouds in the sky. The man's hair is dark, well groomed, and slicked back, his face is quite well formed with the exception of a large hook nose. He stares at Arther and asks in a drawl tone, "Are you Arthur Marston?"

"...Yes." Marston arches an eyebrow at this unusual gentleman who has found his way to his doorstep. "And you are...?"

"Mr. O'Toole," He says and extends one of his gloved hands to Marston, "May I come in?"

Marston shakes his hand somewhat tentatively, then crosses his arms, eying the unusual stranger. "...Perhaps you could tell me what brings you here first?"

"I believe that you had a run in with a friend of mine a little over a week ago," He states in a calm and measured voice, "A young woman by the name of Lisa Devereux."

Smirking, Marston replies, "Maybe I did; then again, maybe I didn't. What's it to you?"

"Well," He says, looking about first before continuing, "I dislike it when young women I know become injured, it is quite annoying. Especially when they complain to me about it."

"Ah, yes. That particular incident. We teachers generally are not supportive of people blowing holes in our walls and attacking our students. I took a more proactive approach to dealing with this problem, and I think they learned an important lesson about the dangers of magic as a result."

"Oh," He says somewhat surprised by Mr. Marston's description, "Perhaps we could compare notes on the event for I heard a very different depiction. Might I come in?"

Marston effaces his smirk, replacing it with a wry smile. "I suppose, as gentlemen, we should sit down and discuss the affair. Step inside, Mr. O'Toole."
After moving inside the house, Marston asks, "Can I get you something to drink?"

"Ah.." Mr. O'Toole pauses as he takes a seat at the Marston family's kitchen table, "No thank you." He then pulls out a small black notebook from his breast pocket, "Now Lisa informed me that you attacked her for practicing magic, and that this attack was relatively unprovoked. However, your response has lead me to believe that the situation might have been quite different."

Marston gives a brief, factual summary of what happened that particular day, making sure to include his disapproval of kids meddling with mind control.

((An info-dump is fine))
"Intriguing," The gentleman says calmly, "I had no idea that she was getting involved in something so dangerous. I am glad that you put some righteous fear into her though. You know how young people can be..."

"Yes, I try to keep these things out of my professional life, but I had a hunch that something was going on here that I had to work out."
[Guess failing Deduction checks by 7 is good for something after all.]

Mr. O'Toole smiles as he stands up, "Well Mr. Marston it was a pleasure to meet you, and I thank you for inviting me into your home. However, as much as a pleasure as this has been I do hope that we don't cross paths again. That would most likely be dreadful."
