They're making an expansion called City of Villains, don't know when it's coming out, it's in Beta though.

First off you can only pick from the first two powers on the list, not all of them, and there are several secondary powers: Dark Armor, Invulnerability, Regeneration, or Super Reflexes. Of which you get the first power in the list.
Defense +1 (10+1 class+Dex Mod.) Speed 30ft BAB +1 Fort +2 Ref +2 Will +0 Grapple BAB+Str Modifier.

Ah, I see. So, will this game work the same way as D&D? And can we get armor, or are we forever cursed to have low Def?

No armor, but you'll be surprised at how fast your Defense will raise (especially since there are no items, so enhancements to stats are common).
Otherwise it's pretty much D&D, since they run on the same system.

Can't believe I forgot about this, skill!
All hero archetypes treat all skills as class skills, with the following as ur skill points:
Blaster: 4+Int Modifier Controller: 8+Int Modifier Defender: 4+Int Modifier Scrapper: 3+Int Modifier Tanker: 3+Int Modifier
Of course at 1rst level, u get your skill points times 4.

Background Mr. McKenna was victim of an alien attack during the invasion in 2002. A targeted nuclear weapons facility caused a massive radioactive fallout; out of his entire city, only he survived. He was in an abnormal state for months, which baffeled even top physicians. During his eventual recovery period, researchers discovered that he had abnormal radioactive fields around his body. One day, he passed an elderly woman on the street, thereby curing her of her cancer. He would not find out until weeks later that he had in fact received superpowers on par with other superheroes.
Description: Of Irish/Russian decent, McKenna has green eyes and black hair, a short black beard, slightly tan skin, and a moderately large build. His costume is black with some green, green cuffs, and a green X on the front.

I suppose that I should write my character's bio. Oh, I'm actually gonna pick Claws instead of Katana if that's alright. I'll put the new power on my character stats.
During 1990, a young boy of 5 years old whose name no one knew, lost his parents during all the chaos that followed during the Cold War. They were very wealthy, which made them prime targets to super villians. One night, a purple-cloaked villian who could control super powered energy broke into their house. The boy's parents tried to resist (being greedy) to protect their fortunes, which resulted in their demise to the villian. The boy woke up to see his parents lying on the floor. He tried to charge at the villian, but he simply got blasted with energy. He spent many weeks in a hospital from the attack, but survived.
9 years later, the boy (who went to live in an orphanige since the attack) discovered something strange about himself. One day, a fat bully at the orphanige tried to beat him up for no reason at all. The boy did Matrix-like dodges against the bully's punches, then easily picked him up over his head and tossed him into a nearby Lincoln Log structure that a fellow orphan made. He couldn't believe what had happened since he only weighed 90 pounds and the bully was 200. Yep, he's tubsy ubsy. His newfound muscular power got him thinking; with training, he may be able avenge his parents.
Over the next 6 years (assuming that this game will take place during 2005), he went through rigerous training to increase his strength. He weilds dual claws on his hands and calls himself Slash. He joins a group of super heroes (obviously ours) to protect others from meeting the fate that his parents went through and to seek and destroy the purple-cloaked murderer.
Oh yeah, forgot description. Here it is: Age: 20 Height: 5 feet, 8 inches Weight: 135 pounds Eye color: dark brown Costume design: jet black jumpsuit with dark blue stripes on the arms and legs. Helmet is Megaman-style, same color as jumpsuit, and only reveals his eyes.

As for how the meeting went, it was good. Me and Avi tossed out all the normal rules for heroes and created our own. For example, if you find a criminal, KILL HIM!!! There shall be no beating him up and bringing him to the police. Take matters into your own hands. After killing a few typical criminals, we got a little bored since we wanted to fight a super villian. So we fast fowarded and automatically level up to level 10, gained new powers (Avi got flight while I got super speed) and a few months passed just like that. Then we got to fight some nut with energy-based powers after he blew up a building. The most funny thing was when I used a pile of ruble as a ramp to get to the villian who was flying and slashed him a few times. Unfortunetly for me, I forgot the falling part. Ouch... After beating the guy up, he planted another bomb in a building and we only had 10 minutes to find it. As soom as we got in the building, a bunch of the guy's lackeys showed up. We stopped there beacuse Grippo showed up and we went on to D&D.
